While you’re making new year’s resolutions, think about clearing out computer clutter, protecting your passwords and taking other steps to be safe in cyberworld.

“The Wi-Fi from the local coffee shop, public park or bookstore seems safe enough,” says Sara Roncero-Menendez of the digital news site Mashable.com. “But if you see a network with a dubious name (like “Free Public Wi-Fi”) that doesn’t require a password, you’re better safe than sorry.”
